Can you tell me how many bands into doom metal tried to play music which style is similar to such Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Tiamat, Paradise Lost…? Yeah, pretty many… BUT far not all of them are able to do really worthy stuff. As for our present guests from Russia WINE FROM TEARS I can't say same, as they did really decent job, and their music is pretty good doom-death metal, made in average way, of course without any innovative or just excellent tunes, but really interesting and even catching. I like their way of performance, again nothing original, but we don't need for any originality, guitar parts are sounds good, with such pressing sound, and those various melodies and tempos are looks very good together with growls and other musical things. The whole album is made in various tempos, like you will be enjoyed by all those tempo-changes, from mid to slow ones and vise versa. Plus add interesting keyboards and you'll get another doom-death metal album in the way of afore mentioned doom soldiers (of course NOT better but good). Beautiful intro + 11 tracks.
